first of all the mall doesn't own the garage! its a seperate company, so they don't get that money.
second, i wouldn't call providence place mall that high end. yes it has a nordstroms but its a low level nordstroms, it doesn't have nearly as much high end stuff as others!it also has a jc penny. not for anything but i wouldn't consider jc penny a "high end" destination store. that mall wasn't built to be a mall. it was built to be a casino and the bill got knocked down at the last minute so they turned it into a mall how many malls do you know that have 3 floors of carpeting? general growth properties is the second or third company to own that mall. if anything, someone else will just buy it. as far as rift raft its a city mall, what do you expect? go into copley and you get the same thing. its all what you make out of the experience. trust me im not proppm, i have worked there since the mall open, but to be so closed minded?? and think of how many jobs will be lost if that mall closed! that would be the wrong thing to do in this economic crisis!!
iam sorry the mall is in trouble! but i think the mall should have never been built. i wouldnt shop there fear of getting mugg shot stab you name it it could happen! and to pay to shop all that money where is it?
ummm. i've been to the mall countless times in the past couple years. i'm 14, and since i was 11 i was allowed to go around the mall alone, with friends. my mom would give me 20$ which seemed like a ton then. and i was fine. no one ever mugged me, shot me, or stabbed me. it could happen anywhere not just at the mall; relax.
